Welcome to Lubbock SHRM
What is SHRM?
The Lubbock Chapter of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) serves the West Texas area. While affiliated with National SHRM, the chapter operates independently to provide a wide variety of professional development and networking opportunities for area HR professionals. The Chapter's diverse membership represents large and small corporations and organizations in the area and ranges in experience from entry level to senior level individuals. All SHRM chapter policies, practices, activities, and actions are free from discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, disability or veteran status.
Mission Statement
The purpose of The Lubbock Chapter of The Society for Human Resource Management, Chapter 186, is to provide opportunities for conferences, cooperative research and exchange of information among members as well as help to raise the standards of performance in all phases of personnel administration and standards of the industry.
